About

444 attire is built on the realisation that clothing is one of the most powerful forms of human expression. From this understanding comes the need for clothing to hold a deeper meaning, which most modern clothing overlooks, focusing primarily on aesthetics. Even the most celebrated designers and fashion houses rarely create pieces with true intention. At the same time, today’s ‘spiritual’ clothing often lacks elegance and refinement.

Both high fashion and spiritual clothing feel incomplete in their own ways, each holding only one half of what clothing can be. 444 Atttire bridges that gap. The brand brings together intentional pieces, ensuring that every garment carries a deeper meaning while also being contemporary and crafted with exceptional quality through the finest materials and methods.

Origins

444 Attire is a Swedish / French brand founded by Viktor Slette and Pierre Carpentier. The brand originates from a deeply personal spiritual journey. When Viktor was sixteen he underwent a period of hardship that reshaped his understanding of the self, and the world at large. That experience pushed him inward, revealing a sense of truth and beauty he had never known before. As Viktor grew through this transformation, he wanted to express what he had discovered, yet when he searched for clothing that reflected this truth, he found nothing that resonated. Viktor chose to take matters into his own hands and began sketching clothing that captured what he had discovered, and what he could not find in modern clothing. The idea of 444 was born at that moment, yet it remained a dream.

It wasn’t until Viktor began university that the idea found its path forward. There, he met his roommate, Pierre Carpentier, whose strong eye for design and genuine interest in fashion aligned naturally with the vision. Pierre had already founded a company prior to 444 Attire, bringing a practical business foundation. When Viktor shared his idea, Pierre recognised the depth at the core of the vision, seeing that it was about far more than clothing. They together agreed to bring this idea to life, turning a dream into reality.
